What is being bought
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified providers to deliver Community based short breaks for disabled children and young people. The community short breaks provision is split into different types of activities (Lots) each lot is split geographically into Delivery Area 1, 2 and 3. Details of the delivery areas can be found in appendix 1 Service Specification within this Invitation to tender. The core service will consist of regular sessions to support children and young people to have consistent access to Short Breaks which offer a range of creative, flexible, fun and co-designed activities in local communities for children and young people with disabilities aged 5-18 This can be a combination of sessions after school, evening, weekends and in the school and college holidays.
The Council would like to achieve a wide range of services and activities across the County within the following Lots which are:
• Lot 1 After school activities.
• Lot 2 Weekend and school holidays activities,
• Lot 3 Evening activities and
• Lot 4 Activities for Autistic Children and Young People, without a learning disability.
