What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe Council is seeking the provision of a range of Supported Housing accommodation and support for Young People who are aged 16-25 and assessed as vulnerable by the Children in Need Service and for who the local authority Children’s Services has a Statutory Duty. This includes Children Looked After aged 16-17; Care Leavers aged 18-25; and homeless young people aged 16-18. The units of accommodation will also be used by the Customer Engagement (CE) Team who deal with homeless young people who are aged 16-29. We seek to commission a range of accommodation that will provide the right young people with the right place and support to acquire the skills to live independently, and make successful transition to independent living.

- Review procedure
The Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point when information on the proposed award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of ten calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. Aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by any breach of the Council’s obligations may take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
