What is being bought
Whiteley Homes Trust (WHT) requires a Contractor to deliver comprehensive cleaning services across its estate at Whiteley Village. The contract covers communal areas within residential buildings including entrances, exits, doors and door glass, hallways, landings, staircases, internal and external windows, walls, ceilings, light fittings, skirting boards, ledges and bin rooms, together with external areas and courtyards. The contract also includes cleaning of a range of community and amenity facilities including offices, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, communal lounges, a church, pool and changing rooms, activity centre, clubhouse and community café, shop complex and village hall. Furniture cleaning and the maintenance of communal lighting checks are also included within the scope. Optional and instructed works include pressure washing of floors, walls and ceilings, machine scrubbing and stripping and polishing of vinyl floors, steam cleaning of carpeted areas, graffiti removal and bulk waste and fly-tip removal. The Contractor will be required to provide all equipment, materials and cleaning chemicals, and maintain appropriate health and safety, COSHH and risk assessment records throughout the contract. All staff must hold basic DBS checks appropriate to working in proximity to elderly and vulnerable residents.
