The weighted questions and criteria have been weighted to reflect the relevant importance of the question and criteria to the assessment of the capability of the Potential Provider. \nNo more than five Potential Providers will be taken forward from this PSQ to participate in the Invitation to Tender (ITT). \nThe stage 2 evaluation scores and weightings are detailed within the PSQ Assessment Methodology Document. An individual weighted score is calculated for each question by multiplying the question weighting by the appropriate score allocated to the Potential Provider for that question. A total weighted score is then calculated by adding together the entire individual question weighted scores for the Potential Provider.\nThe Potential Provider’s response to each question shall be evaluated in accordance with the Potential Provider selection criteria detailed in the PSQ Assessment Methodology Document. \nAll questions must be answered without reference to general marketing or promotional material. \nNo more than five Potential Providers will be taken forward from this PSQ to participate in the Invitation to Tender (ITT). \nThe exercise will be conducted in the English language.     "description": "The MEDEVAC capability is defined as a platform fitted for role that can move patients with concurrent support from a clinician from Point of Injury (POI) to Point of Treatment (POT). The Authority will provide a clinician for the aviation MEDEVAC and then conduct a handover/takeover of the patient at the nearest POT landing site to the Contractor provided clinician for the ground MEDEVAC transfer. This is in order to develop and maintain timely hospital transfers of exercising troops, BATUK staff and their dependents. This requirement is enduring whilst permanent staff and dependents are based in BATUK irrespective of training taking place. \nThe requirement is made up of two rotary wing platforms, one covering the Nanyuki area 24/7/365 and the other covering areas for the duration of the exercise 24/7 either in Archers Post Training Areas or Nanyuki dependent on where it is taking place. The service includes ground ambulance transfer complete with trained medical clinicians upon meeting the rotary wing platform in Nairobi or the transfer of patients from Kifaru Barracks in Nairobi to the approved treatment facility. Additionally, the service will respond to any road traffic incidents and transfer casualties from hospital to the designated airport for flight back to the UK if required.",

    "description": "The British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) MEDEVAC, Emergency Response and Aviation Support requirement is currently split into three requirements –\n1) Combined Medical Evacuation (MEDIVAC), Kenya  \nA capability to transport, through medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), injured or ill Service personnel, Entitled Family Members, employees (in line with the Medical Rules of Eligibility) of BATUK from Point of Injury to an appropriate Point of Treatment.\n2) Safe Operating Environment (SOE), Kenya  \nThe SOE capability will cover all locations where exercising troops operate in Kenya. Locations change continually each year, and the enduring capability must be able to match the extant laydown throughout the contract life. The requirement is to assess training facilities and training area infrastructure for safety, intercept raining area incursions, assist with natural disasters and, or respond to emergency situations that may lead to a loss of life. Range clearance will ensure training areas, live firing templates and pre-arranged areas of interest to the Authority are clear of humans, livestock, and significant wildlife. Aerial Fire Fighting must be capable of fire suppression from the air, of a given area to ensure a safe place to train.\n3) Medical Support, Kenya  \nThe provision of a Host Nation MEDEVAC service to replicate the range and quality of support normally provided by the NHS and Local Authorities in the UK to reduce the risk to Service Personnel and entitled persons when outside of the BATUK MEDEVAC area of operation.",
