What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionTrivallis have appointed an experienced contractor to undertake Radon testing services at various locations across Rhondda Cynon Taff and Cardiff Bay. The services will comprise of a strategy to minimise the risk from exposure to radon and its decay products to employees and persons using Trivallis properties. The successful contractor will undertake the following: Having clear procedures in place for the management of radon in affected buildings. Assisting Trivallis in developing and maintaining records of radon gas levels in Trivallis premises. Assisting Trivallis in maintaining a central database of all records. Providing suitable information and advice to employees and other persons likely to be exposed to levels of radon gas in Trivallis premises. To act as the recognised Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) on behalf of Trivallis. Ensuring that any remedial measures put in place to reduce the level of radon in a property are monitored and maintained effectively. Reviewing reports and providing necessary actions to manage the risk The testing will be carried out at properties owned by Trivallis, situated in the geographical area of RCT (Rhondda, Cynon and Taff Valleys).The tender will be conducted on Etender Wales, and all clarification questions are to be asked using the messaging system, there.

- Quality Weighting: Quality weighting is spread over 5 questions that add up to 60%. The detail is provided in the ITT in etender wales
- Condition of participation
The Welsh Government PSQ will be used as the conditions of participation
- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
