Selection criteria as stated in the Procurement documents.
- Technical & professional ability
Bidders must have appropriate membership of a professional translation or interpretation body. The professional translation/interpretation body must be one where examination/assessment is required to become a full member.
The professional accreditation must be relevant to the Lot.
Examples of professional translation/interpretation bodies are, but not limited to:
the Association of Welsh Translators and Interpreters and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
- Price carries 30 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 3 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- “Translation Services Framework Agreement” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 18 suppliers, not a single contract.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
