    The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires the provision of care and support services to adults with a learning disability and/or physical/sensory impairment in properties throughout the Vale of Glamorgan (“the Services”). These supported living services include personal domiciliary care and support services. The Supported Living Service applies to adults with a learning disability and/or physical disability who, following a wellbeing assessment, have been identified as requiring care and support. The purpose of the Service is to provide a model of individualised strengths based and co-produced services, which will promote and maintain the independence and inclusion of citizens who have learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism Spectrum conditions, sensory impairment, behaviour that is challenging and complex needs. Supported living assumes that all Citizens, regardless of the level or type of disability, can make choices about how to live their lives. Supporting Citizens to have their own home, choice and control and a decent income are enabling factors offering citizenship and social inclusion. Services procured under this contract will enable citizens to live as independently as possible. This is a 2 stage process procurement process where interested providers have to successfully complete this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire in order to be invited to tender. The Prequalification first stage is open to all interested parties. However the second stage will be invitation only to those who have passed the PQQ evaluation. Please note the length of contract: 5 years with an option to extend for up to a further 5 years. Additional information: The Council has included a draft procurement timetable for information, however this may be subject to change. All other details regarding the service provision will not be issued until the invite to tender stage of this process.
