Published requirement descriptionThe Keys Academy Trust is currently out to tender for the provision of a full daily cleaning service.The contract is being offered for three years with the option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months. The contract commencement date is 15 February 2025.The contract is for a full daily cleaning service during term time and periodic cleaning outside of term time.TUPE is expected to apply, details of which can be found in the tender documentation.Some members of the cleaning team in certain schools are members of the Local Government Pension Scheme and all details are in the tender documentation.

- Suitability
In the first instance, bidders should register with In-tend and express an interest in the contract. Contract details can be found under the 'Tenders’ and 'Forthcoming' section of the In-tend homepage. A Selection Questionnaire (SQ) must be completed and returned (via In-tend). Bidders will need to provide as part of the request to participate process evidence of business quality standards, accreditations, and relevant experience. Shortlisted bidders will be required to complete an Invitation to Tender submission. Any bidder found to be guilty of serious misrepresentation in proving false or inaccurate information may be declared ineligible and not selected to continue with the process.
- Price carries 30 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 3 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.

The Keys Academy Trust will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland)
