This service will be provided on a 24, 7, 365(6) days a year basis and will include the associated welfare requirements for the dogs. It is anticipated that there will be an ongoing requirement of a minimum of 8 kennels, although this figure is estimated and is not a guarantee of future business. NYP have an obligation to ensure the safety of members of the public and the welfare of seized dogs in accordance with the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended 1997) and other legislation including the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the Hunting Act, Dog Act 1871, and offences against wildlife.
