What is being bought

Taff Housing Association (Taff) is seeking to upgrade its current telecoms solution to a more advanced platform to provide the following

  • Enhance efficiency
  • Improved customer experience,
  • Provide value for money
  • Analytics
  • Futureproof digital solutions
  • How the procedure runs: Stage 1- Pre-Qualification Questionnaire Taff will issue a Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to all suppliers interested in the proposed tender. The PPQ will be scored accordingly, with the view to reduce the number of suppliers to move onto Stage 2 to a maximum of 5. Stage 2 – Demonstration of Proposed Solution The 5 selected suppliers will be required to demonstrate the following in a 1-hour on-site presentation. – Scoring carried forward • Functionality as per requirements of this document • Evidence of integrations • 15 minutes for set questions Stage 3 - Invitation to Tender Based on the feedback from the demonstrations, 3 suppliers will be taken forward to invitation to tender stage Stage 4 - Competitive Tender Competitive tender process. Supplier are invited to respond in detail to the full requirements document. Stage 5 - Award Contract Award. Tender responses will be reviewed and evaluated, and a single supplier will be appointed subject to validation.

    • Confirm whether there are any material financial risks affecting your ability to deliver the contract.

    • Confirm the level of professional indemnity insurance held, if applicable.
    • Confirmation that all elements of point 5 of the PQQ. Grounds for exclusion are passed.

  • Cost of Software Product: The scoring will be based on the cost of the software product meeting our proposed budget for the software contract. The implementation costs will also be taken into consideration.
  • Demonstration of Software product: This criteria will look at the software product, how intuitive it is to use, the applied functionaity, evidence of integrations, and the feedback given by our primary customer facing users.
  • Functionality of the Software Product: This criteria will look at the over functional and non functional elements Set out in both the tender and PQQ. Additionally the reviewing of all the elements provided in the Tender document

How it runs

Stage 1- Pre-Qualification Questionnaire

Taff will issue a Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to all suppliers interested in the proposed tender. The PPQ will be scored accordingly, with the view to reduce the number of suppliers to move onto Stage 2 to a maximum of 5.
