What is being bought

Published requirement description

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is exploring the capability and capacity of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market for the supply of a Metal Detection equipment, including dual sensor ferro and non-ferro magnetic metal detection archways, handheld detectors, and portable detection poles. The MoJ are taking this approach to support the HMPPS estate for the duration of the Agreement and estimated asset life of the equipment. The tender is expected to be published in Autumn 2023.

The Authority will formulate the project into several lots, to aggregate metal and wider threat detection requirements.
