Supply, Commissioning, Training and Maintenance of Lifting Jacks

Purchase of 12 Liting Jacks and associated control equipment capable of safely lifting the range of rolling stock, Class 158 and 170 Vehicles. The Procurement involves Design, Commissioing and ongoing Maintenance requirements, Thw Lifting Jacks will be electrically operated screw type, adequately rated for there intended duty. The Jacks will be non Rail mounted. The Jacks will be capable of lifting rolling stock and at lifting speed not greater than 300mm/min. All Jacks should be fitted wit an adjustable anvil lifting arm. The anvil height range shall be sufficient to safely lift the types of rolling stock details. Jacks shall have the capability of further expansion to allow additional identical sets to be used as 1 synchronised system for lifting multiple vehicles of 2 and 3 sets. The Jacks will retain the ability to be operated in sets of 4 allowing for single car lifts. The Jacks shall be capable of continuous operation in all weather conditions in a temperature rane of -5 to +35 degrees centrigrade inclusive. Lifting Jack body and bracket to be finished in Safety Yellow The Jacks shall include fork truck lifting pockets and Jack lifting points to assist in transporting/moving the Jacks, Fork truck lifting pockets to be parrallel to the running rail.
