        "description": "About the event:-\nSwansea Council has a contract for the delivery of Unpaid Carers Support services in Swansea.\nAn unpaid carer is ‘A person who provides or intends to provide care for an adult or disabled child’.\nThe contract for the unpaid carers support services is coming to an end shortly. The Council would therefore like to invite existing and potential providers of unpaid carers support service to take part in our virtual market engagement event.\nThe Council is seeking to award a contract to an organisation that can provide unpaid carers support services across Swansea.\nThe purpose of this event will be:\n- To share the views of unpaid carers that the Council has collated and how their views has shaped its plans.\n- To outline our potential commissioning model\n- Provide information on the next steps and timescales\nSwansea Council would like to invite providers of unpaid carers support services with relevant experience to register for the market engagement event.\nRegistration Details:\n- The event will be held on 5th December 2023, 10:00 – 11:30am.\n- Please register your interest by emailing Jeanette.munn@swansea.gov.uk by 29th November 2023 to enable a TEAM’s invite link to be sent to you.\nThis event will be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams and we recommend that you join via a laptop/desktop so that it will be easier for you to type and use chat functionality."
