Coverage: 27 active published awards; 2 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority (the Authority) are seeking to engage with suppliers of remotely operated subsurface vehicles to a demonstration of Remotely Operated Vehicles for the search, location, and retrieval of a simulated subsurface casualty. The controlled demonstration will simulate an operational scenario to assess key capabilities. •Scenario: Subsurface Casualty Location and Retrieval Suppliers will be required to demonstrate their product's ability to: 1.Search: Rapidly and effectively sweep a designated area to identify the presence of the simulated casualty. 2.Locate: Accurately pinpoint the horizontal and vertical position (depth) of the simulated casualty. 3.Retrieval: Demonstrate the products ability to undertake the safe and effective retrieval of the casualty. Key Focus Areas: •Accuracy and Precision: Of location and depth measurement. •Speed of Operation: Time taken to successfully locate the target. •Usability and Deployment: Ease and speed of system set-up and operation. •Data Output: Quality, clarity, and utility of the information provided for retrieval planning. This market engagement is not a guarantee that the Authority will proceed to a tender process and participation in the demonstration will be at the expense of suppliers.
