Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Preliminary Market Consultations There are three main players in the market that could fulfil our requirements, Siat Spa (the incumbent), Kite Packaging and Southgate Packaging (who provide the service to RM) Procurement believe that this is a representative cohort of suppliers who will wish to bid for this opportunity . Approach The estimated total contract value exclusive of VAT is under the current threshold. Procurement will seek at least three quotes from the market to ensure fair competition In considering the procurement we have decided to include the consumable element in the tender along with the maintenance element. This procurement will be for 2 lots: 1. Maintenance of the existing/New Strapping Machines, including parts and new equipment supply as required. 2. Supply of strapping machine consumables for existing and any new equipment.
