It is considered that this contract can be placed using the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication of a Contract Notice pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(b)(iii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 to take advantage of particularly advantageous terms for the purchase of goods in a sale brought about by a decision by the supplier on 30th November 2022 to cease trading post the conclusion of the sale of its assets, which is currently forecast to conclude by 30th April 2023.",
