Lot details

Lot 1

Post Office is looking at using the Restricted Procedure in Autumn 2022 to award a contract. The contract will cover the replacement of around 600 self service kiosks currently in operation and possible expansion of this offering into new branches. Post Office is interested in a modular solution that can adapt to different settings and use cases. The contract will include support and maintenance of the kiosks for a period of at least 5 years. The contract is likely to involve the provision of EPOS software for the terminals but this must integrate with Post Offices product journey engines and other systems.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 30. The category anchor is Computer terminals (30231100); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
