Lot 1

The proposed Supplier Day will be held at: MPSTC, Gravesend, Kent. DA12 2HN. On the 9th October 2023 The day will consist of: Site briefing by MPSTC Staff. (09:00) Supplier demonstrations - open forum. (09:15 - 12:15) * The next 3 hours will be given over to industry to demonstrate their products in turn in an open forum, where they may be asked questions by Met Police delegation. Please note, there will be no live fire opportunity within the day, this is for a visual and descriptive demonstration only. Lunch (12:15 - 13:00). Lunch will be available in the staff canteen for those wishing to take it. Breakout sessions. (13:00 - 15:00) * Each supplier will be given a 15 minute slot (if needed) where they can show any product not yet commercially available. This time may be reduced as suppliers are expected to demonstrate current products in the open forum. We are interested in seeing what is currently in the market in terms of self-loading pistols to be used by all armed officers, and are specifically interested in: The pistols must be Optics Ready to accept Miniature Red Dot Sights. The pistols must function with current operational police ammunition The pistols must be readily available in full size, compact size and should be available in a micro compact size The pistols must be fitted with a Picatinny style rail system to allow the use of lights and other accessories The pistols must have Simunition/UTM version/conversion kits available • In order to organise the event, anyone interested in demonstrating, will need to register using the form below/link attached. Upon submission of this registration form, a time slot will be allocated for the afternoon session where products not commercially available can be discussed. Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 35. The category anchor is Weapons, ammunition and associated parts (35300000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
