Published justification

The Royal Marsden needs to purchase Software licenses for integration of Aria with the new EPR from Varian. There is no other vendor who can supply this product / service. Only Varian can provide the Trust with the necessary licenses. The product Aria we use is from Varian and it is a medical product. Varian are the only vendor who provides service / maintenance and licenses for this product. No other company offers this as it would be impossible for them to provide the service.

The Trust is intending to buy:

Professional services to implement a paperless workflow and an integration with the EPIC EPR system
Additional training resources
HL7 licenses to enable scheduling, document and daily record exchange with the EPR
Additional ARIA licenses to support paperless working
