Coverage: 22 active published awards; 22 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are looking to explore the market to identify training providers that are able to provide a range of facilities to support experiential learning. Primarily we are looking for hot fire training venues that can support carbonaceous, gas and oil based scenarios for operational personal with a broad range of experience from Firefighter to Station Manager level. The venues must be able to offer exposure to domestic, industrial and commercial scenarios that include basements with a response ranging from two to four appliances. Additionally the facilities should be able to support the use of a range of fire fighting media including foam and provide access to working fixed installations such as dry risers. Access to larger transport based hazardous material scenarios would also be beneficial. It is essential that the provider is able to supply a range of modern equipment to support the training including, but not limited to appliances, breathing apparatus sets, thermal imaging cameras and associated equipment to effectively deal with hazardous material incidents. We intend to run the events over three days, the Service will provide its own qualified instructors however the provider should be able to facilitate full board and suitable on site accommodation for 30 to 40 people predominately during weekends. It is expected that providers will be able to supply suitable and sufficient risk assessments for each of their venues and the scenarios that they propose to support. Additional information: If you feel you are able to meet the requirements of this notice, please email procurement@mawwfire.gov.uk, with your contact details and an overview of the facilities you can offer, by no later than 17:00 Friday 29th July 2022.
