  • Change (1) The contract will co-term on 31 January 2027 (previously there were 2 start and end dates, one relating to existing support, one relating to new; the original end date for the existing support was 31 July 2026. Both will extend from 01 February 2027). (2) The extension provision will be a three year extension from 01 February 2027 to 31 January 2030 instead of the two year extension originally set out. — Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: Initial Term cost: £158,175.85 - Duration 3 years Anticipated WLC (incl 2 year potential ext): (2 x £26,671.30 = £53,342.60) £211,518.45 for 5 years Revised WLC: £158,175.85 + £51,000 = £209,175.85 for 6 years The change from this is the duration, due to the benefit of the costs as set out above. Given the financial benefit to the 3-year extension, we rely on 72(1) (b) For additional works, services, or supplies by the original contractor that have become necessary and where a change of supplier is unviable due to economic or technical reasons.
