Coverage: 1 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

As only one supplier submitted a bid the Trust cancelled the procurement due to lack of competition and supplier engagement to successfully test the market. Following a failed mini competition via the NHS Supply Chain Framework, an Open Procedure was conducted. Again, we only received one bid which did not meet the Trust SFI's for a competitive process and failed to achieve market testing for price, EQA testing and Trust training. An alternative supplier was identified via market research and verified via conversations with other Trusts to understand the pricing structure and ways of working. GlucoRX presented a huge saving for NELFT and when the meters were reviewed by the medical team, they were deemed appropriate for use especially as they meet the set regulatory requirements for Blood Glucose testing, and can provide a product that tests for both Glucose and Ketones in one device, which will streamline processes across the Trust. Internal Quality testing solution and External Quality assessments are provided and managed by the supplier at no cost to the Trust, as well as all meters, batteries and logbooks.Contract periodNot publishedEligibilityNot publishedOptions / renewalNot published
