What is being bought
The Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner seeks to commission a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Sexual Assault and Abuse service for victims, regardless of whether the crime has been reported to the Police or not. The service will provide information, advice, guidance, signposting, counselling and one to one support for children and adult victims, both current and historic, as well as family members and significant others. The provider will also make onward referrals to other specialist agencies such as domestic abuse, mental health, SARC services. The wishes and feelings of sexual assault and abuse victims, should always be at the heart of service planning and delivery. The provider is expected to work in partnership with agencies, in particular those operating within the criminal justice arena. This is an integral part of the support system for sexual assault and abuse victims.

Additional information: It is also asked that Interested organisations confirm who will be attending the above event in advance.
