- Published justification
A Prior Information Notice (PIN) was published via Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) on 18 August 2021, with a request for interested parties to register their interest no later than 12 noon on 03 September 2021. 11 companies noted an interest by this specified closing date, and as part of market engagement for this opportunity, a questionnaire was issued to those same suppliers. The University has found that based on all questionnaire responses received, only 1 company (Toshiba Carrier UK Ltd (03723803)) can fulfill the requirements set out under the Prior Information Notice (PIN).
- Review procedure
An economic operator that suffers, or risks suffering, loss or damage attributable to a breach of duty under the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015 (SSI2015/446) (as amended) may bring proceedings to the Sheriff Court or the Court of Session.
