Wrexham County Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of a Provision of Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services for the collection and delivery of mechanic overalls and work mats on a weekly basis. Collections and deliveries must take place simultaneously.
SCOPE
Wrexham County Borough Council estimate that there will be between 10 and 40 sets of PPE mechanics overalls plus 4 workshop mats, each week. The specific collection and delivery day and time will be agreed at contract award and must remain consistent each week for the duration of the contract. Collections and deliveries must take place Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 15:00. After the initial collection of soiled garments, all subsequent collections and deliveries must occur simultaneously during the same scheduled visit.

- Quality : This will be evaluated based on your response to the quality questions as detailed within this invitation to tender document. The total quality weighting of 60% is sub divided as per the matrix detailed below. The Tender evaluated with the overall highest total score will be awarded the maximum 60% quality score available. All other tenders will be attributed a score equivalent to the percentage difference they are away from the highest quality score evaluated.
- Cost: Pricing will be evaluated in accordance with your response to the Pricing Schedule/s. The tender with the lowest total price will be awarded the maximum 40% price score available. All other tenders will be attributed a score equivalent to the percentage difference they are away from the lowest price received.
- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
