Coverage: 232 active published awards; 19 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Hampshire County Council has a 5-year Adults’ Health and Care Strategy (2023) that sets out to explore and facilitate accommodation models that support people to live as independently as possible within their local communities. Hampshire County Council has a project where it would like to explore the options available with existing private retirement housing schemes and the Social Housing sector, which could include homes that are owned by either a Registered Provider or stock holding local authority in Hampshire. Options may include agreeing nominations, leasing or purchasing properties to accelerate the provision of Extra Care homes for older adults in Hampshire. This market engagement activity is to seek the views of organisations in the private retirement market and social housing sector, to understand the interest in this project to develop a potential future offer.

This market engagement activity is to seek the views of organisations in the private retirement market and social housing sector, to understand the interest in this project to develop a potential future offer. Hampshire County Council also welcomes views of organisations who support the provision of accommodation for people under the age of 21 (specifically 16-21-year-olds) alongside adults’ Extra Care and/or organisations outside of Hampshire.
