Coverage: 165 active published awards; 163 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleThis contract will enable the Local Authority to meet its duty to provide overnight respite for Children in Need. Referrals to the existing overnight respite framework providers for children and young people with complex needs are commonly declined due to their challenging behaviour. This contract will offer a specialist provision for this cohort as an interim solution as the contracted provider is unable to apply to join the open framework as they do not currently meet the minimum requirement of "Good" Ofsted rating as they are a new setting and have not yet been inspected. |
