What is being bought
This is a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice published by the Business Services Organisation (BSO). BSO - Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS), on behalf of our Client: Belfast Trust wish to seek engagement with the marketplace to ascertain the market's capabilities for the service of the Northern Ireland e-Genitourinary Medicine/Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. The purposes of this preliminary market engagement exercise is to: • Update, educate, and inform the Tender Assessment Panel (TAP) members, who are the subject matter experts within this area, of what is currently available in the marketplace. • Provide guidance on potential functional features and service elements that could inform the development of a future tender specification, encompassing both service delivery and associated products. • Gain initial supplier interest for the service, supply and delivery of Northern Ireland e-Genitourinary Medicine/Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. • Establish the readiness of the market/ Assess the market's capacity. • Obtain supplier feedback on what the Client should consider when procuring a contract for the service, supply and delivery of Northern Ireland e-Genitourinary Medicine/Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. • Have a better understanding of the feasibility of the Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) requirements and the most appropriate procurement approach to follow. • Understand any potential risks and/or issues relating to the service required. • Gain insight on the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions. • Gain a better understanding of applicable social value initiatives. • Gain a better understanding of the current practices regarding Ethical Procurement, Human Rights and Modern Slavery. • Ascertain how suppliers can assist in providing services to HSCNI to ensure the highest environmental and health and safety standards in support of the Northern Ireland Waste Management Strategy and to ensure compliance with all relevant and future legislation. • Inform the market of the HSCNI’s Sustainability and Net Zero requirements, and to provide useful resources to the market.
