What is being bought
Growth in demand for eating disorder services has expanded since the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussions with clinicians in primary and secondary care has highlighted the need for a community pathway for adults with eating disorders across Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham. <br/>The role of the Service will be to:<br/>• Support managing adults with eating disorders in the community: psychology, medication, medical monitoring via MDT approach.<br/>• To provide Medical Emergencies in Eating Disorders (MEED) support to the local acute Trusts: advice and guidance, care planning, supporting colleagues in implementing MEED guidance.
