What is being bought

This Request for Information is being issued to help inform options in relation to the supply and repair of a variety of different kinds of Network Monitors and how these might be grouped into Lots in order to cover the entire Thames Water region in both clean and wastewater services. We currently have a number of Framework Agreements coming to an end which cover the supply, repair, install and maintenance of Network Monitors / Data Loggers across our clean and Wastewater environments. Please see Section VI.3 Additional Information for access to the supplier information pack and process for submitting your responses through IASTA Smartsource.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 32. The category anchor is Network equipment (32420000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
