Mwy na geiriau / More than just words (MTJW) 2022–2027: Outcomes and Early Impact Evaluation

The Welsh Government wishes to commission an evaluation of the emerging outcomes associated with the More Than Just Words (MTJW) Action Plan 2022–2027. With under 18 months remaining in the current MTJW plan, the evaluation will provide an important opportunity to assess:

•the extent to which the programme's aims are being realised

•progress made to date in strengthening the Active Offer and the delivery of Welsh-language services across health and social care, and the impact of this on patients, service users and staff

•the factors that enable or constrain progress, including reasons for variation in implementation and outcomes across organisations, services and settings

• the actions and conditions required to strengthen delivery and maximise impact during the remainder of the current programme and beyond

The evaluation is also expected to make a substantive contribution to planning the next phase of MTJW from 2028 onwards. This includes identifying future priorities, informing outcome measures and monitoring arrangements, and providing evidence on the conditions required for the successful delivery of Welsh-language services across health and social care.
