What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionBids are invited from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit a tender for the provision of multi-disciplinary design consultancy services to provide the Authority with detailed designs to deliver an integrated package of public realm works which will complement the wider investment in public spaces and key heritage assets across the city of Kingston upon Hull. The scale (value) of the whole project is circa £5.42m. A phased delivery is envisaged over a 2-3 -year period. The Authority is now seeking Multi-Disciplinary Design Team (“MDT”) Consultancy from suppliers that can provide a full design service, incorporating highway civils, structural, M & E, landscaping, wayfinding, surveying, and NEC contract administration, to reinvigorate the public realm in 3 locations. The MDT should be led by an Accredited Landscape Architect, Urban Designer or Streetscape specialist. Heritage expertise is also essential. The MDT shall act as Principal Designer for the Scheme.
