Please note that this is not a call for Competition. The Contracting Authority will Complete a separate Tender Process following the completion of this Market Soundings Process. Background Greater awareness within the area of domestic violence and abuse has shown that male victims are coming forward to report the crime or to seek independent support to help them deal with the trauma of having been the subject of domestic violence and abuse. Market Soundings The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) are reviewing the current service provision for support of Male Victims of Domestic Abuse in advance of a Tender for renewal of an existing contract for the provision of these services. The HSCB is proposing to hold one to one market sounding meetings with potential service providers on the 15th and 19th of November 2021. Areas for possible discussion: • Service provider capabilities – including specialties • Current Service Provision and Range of Services Required • Service Access and market capacity Potential Services Providers are requested to register their interest, by eTenders message by the 8th of November. It is intended that the Market Soundings meetings will be carried out by way of Zoom Conference Calls. Potential Services Providers are requested to submit in advance a 3-4 page outline of their service background, capabilities and capacity in respect of these or similar services. Please note that the Market Soundings are independent of the Tender Process. Potential Service Providers who do not make a submission or who cannot engage in the Market Soundings will not be precluded from participation in the Tender.  Light Touch Regulation This notice relates to the procurement of services classified under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") as Social and Other Specific Services and listed in Schedule 3 to the Regulations. As such this Tender for this Service is subject to the provisions of Chapter 3: Section 7 of the Public Contracts Regulations otherwise known as the “Light Touch Regime”.
