Coverage: 1 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Supply of bulk liquid CO2 on a 5 year contract basis with an exit clause after 1 year. Ability to fix a competitive price for the first year essential. Need to be able to guarantee supply of between 4,000 and 8,000 tonnes per annum in the differing monthly supply volumes required by the project.
Quotations sought from partners able to supply on the basis above including a fixed price for Year 1 and the ability to exit the contract at end of first year if the University wishes to, resulted in only the selected supplier being able to meet our requirement. This was also affordable against the BIFoR budgetary constraints.

Clear requests for compliant quotations made to all parties able to supply the required volumes with the additional contractual requirements resulted in only one compliant bid. |
