Published requirement descriptionSheffield City Council is seeking an Event Organiser who has achieved demonstrable success and has a track record in organising event with a capacity of 5000+. The Event Organiser shall manage, successfully host, organise the event which has no financial cost or risk to Sheffield City Council; with all financial or operational costs and risks being the responsibility of the Event Organiser The Council is keen to receive ideas from Event Organisers on how they would host and organise a food festival event.

- Pricing Schedule: This Request for Quotations (RFQ) is not issued under the Procurement Act 2023 and does not constitute a public contract or concession contract for the purposes of that Act. The Council is not procuring any goods, services, or works. Instead, the Council intends to grant a licence to occupy and use Council land to deliver a commercially operated event. Providers will pay the Council a licence or hire fee for this right. The competitive process is undertaken solely to ensure fairness, transparency, and best value in selecting a provider. It is a discretionary commercial process, and procurement rules and remedies do not apply.
- Quality Assessment / Method Statement: The Quality Assessment / Method Statement is your response to the Council’s specification or business need and should set out how you will meet all of the requirements set out. Additional supporting evidence is permitted in the form of visual aids and promotional materials
- Price carries 30 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 3 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
