Coverage: 207 active published awards; 207 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Coroner has a statutory duty under the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 to certify and register deaths for any cases referred. Post-mortem samples are mostly utilised however ante-mortem sampling is occasionally required. Samples taken are sent for Toxicological testing to ascertain the presence of the requested drugs or alcohol.
The Coroner utilises the results of Toxicological screening in ascertaining the cause of death which can be used in court proceedings at inquest, therefore a clear report must be provided per sample.
