This is currently for 52 pupils (maximum 60) and 1 member of staff. We will be sharing our school premises with a private Chinese/English Bilingual School from September 2022 for 1 year. We will know towards the end of this year if there needs to be an extension on this length of time. If there is an extension for them to stay in 2023-24, the catering team will need to provide meals for approximately an additional 100 pupils and 17 staff; meal quality and menu choice is very important with an occasional Oriental twist Improved quality that ensures best value and meets all the needs of our students To replace the existing catering contract maintained by the LA including the Heavy Equipment contract Happier onsite catering team who are nurtured and looked after by their employer We want to be proud of our catering service and the food they serve. We would like the whole school to have a hot meal daily (including the staff) but it is hard to promote/sell a product that we don’t believe in Possibility in the future to include food for breakfast club and after school club if the price is comparable to the school doing it ourselves

We are a SEN school for students aged 2-19 years. The majority of our students require a texture modified diet which needs adapting to suit their needs. We follow IDDSI guidelines which can be found here https://iddsi.org/framework/ These students are supported by an onsite Speech and Language Therapy Team. Not all students require a school meal as they have liquid feeds via a PEG/tube. Must have a vegetarian option for students requiring a modified meal. Halal only In addition to our permanent staff we have approximately 20 additional staff based on site who are agency employed support or NHS staff.
