The Council is responsible for the environmental monitoring of a number of landfill sites and trade effluent discharge consents within the county of Durham. The monitoring programme
comprises of laboratory analysis and reporting of leachate, groundwater and surface water samples that have been collected by Durham County Council staff.
- Recurrence: The expected start date for the proposed contract is 1st February 2023. The expected end date for the proposed contract is 31st January 2028 The proposed contract is to be let with an option to extend for a further 24 months from the actual end date.
