Procedure rationaleThe NHSBSA has previously purchased the Kofax ICR Solution made up of a bespoke product suite including KTT. This contract relates to the support and maintenance of those Kofax (KTT) products purchased by the NHSBSA. This award does not relate to the ICR solution as the product has already been purchased and there is no requirement to replace the product. The requirement relates to the support of the products purchased by the NHSBSA. A failure in the continued support of this service would have a catastrophic effect on the NHSBSA’s ability to provide the services reliant on ICR processing. The product owned by the NHSBSA must be supported by Kofax UK Ltd due to the bespoke nature of the product configuration and integration required to the NHSBSA systems.
