Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
storage service is available for residents who approach the housing department for assistance. This includes residents who apply to the authority under the homelessness legislation and residents wishing to transfer from Council managed and/or other socially rented accommodation to more suitable accommodation. There may also be occasions where residents approach the Council from housing tenures other than those mentioned, where provision of the service will be made available. Residents using the service increasingly include the vulnerable and elderly, disabled residents, residents on the Accessible Housing Register and those affected by the Grenfell tragedy who require additional support to enable them to move. We would welcome proposals from Contractors in the business of providing the following services for residents living in the private sector and social rented housing accommodation: i. Removals and delivery ii. Storage - collection and delivery iii. Environmentally sound disposal or recycling of tenant’s goods/waste that is no longer required iv. Dismantling furniture and reassembly thereafter. The Contract is anticipated to run for a period of three years from October 2023 with an option to extend for a further 2 years, taking the total contract duration to 5 years altogether. Please refer to the specification document for a comprehensive service list and description of the scope of service.
