What is being bought

The Joint Nature Conservation Committee ("JNCC") is the statutory adviser to the UK Government and devolved administrations on UK and international nature conservation. JNCC and the conservation sector are under increasing pressure to deliver value for money and solutions through their procurement activities and must achieve value for money through all procurement exercises. The triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution has intensified the challenges facing nature conservation. JNCC are seeking expert support to strengthen our critical role in protecting the UK’s biodiversity across both land and sea. JNCC is committed to advancing nature‑based solutions to address these interconnected crises as a central element of our strategic development. JNCC is creating a Business Associates Framework agreement for the future supply of consultancy services for the required specialisms. The objective of the Framework Agreement is to deliver best value, continuous improvement and efficiency gains across the life of the Agreement. Your role as a supplier is key in helping JNCC to deliver value. With this, we would invite participants who can provide the greatest value for money achievable.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 71. The category anchor is Environmental engineering consultancy services (71313000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

With this, we would invite participants who can provide the greatest value for money achievable.",

With this, we would invite participants who can provide the greatest value for money achievable.",

"description": "The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (\"JNCC\") is the statutory adviser to the UK Government and devolved administrations on UK and international nature conservation. With this, we would invite participants who can provide the greatest value for money achievable.",

"description": "The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (\"JNCC\") is the statutory adviser to the UK Government and devolved administrations on UK and international nature conservation. With this, we would invite participants who can provide the greatest value for money achievable.",
