- This contract is being awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 using Direct Award Process C. The current contract for Intermediate Care Ward GP Provision is due to expire and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has assessed the incumbent provider, Hastings and Rother Healthcare Federation Ltd, against the Provider Selection Regime key criteria and basic selection criteria. The Trust has concluded that the provider is delivering the existing service to a satisfactory standard and is likely to continue to satisfy the requirements of the proposed contract. The proposed contractual arrangements are not changing considerably from the existing contract and the service model will remain substantially unchanged. The provider has demonstrated effective integration with Trust services and partner organisations, supported improvements in patient flow and reablement outcomes, contributed to reduced acute length of stay, and provided consistent GP cover through an experienced clinical workforce. Accordingly, the Trust is satisfied that the conditions for Direct Award Process C are met and that the award is lawful under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023
Publisher note: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 15.10.2026 midnight. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.’
