Coverage: 7 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleSt George's Crypt are the only provider that has the expertise, capacity, experience and local knowledge and connections to deliver the service currently, which correlates with the requirements of the provision as to a lack of competition for technical reasons.
There are no concerns with the current provision which would suggest that there is any meaningful risk with entering into a new contract with St George's Crypt. They have consistently met their contractual obligations and are established key partners who have engaged with clients, commissioners, and other stakeholders with regard to service delivery for rough sleepers and people at risk of homelessness.
St George's Crypt deliver the service from established premises which would be impossible to replicate within such short timescales through alternative provision.
Recommissioning the Overnight and Hub service in the city provides continuity of care for vulnerable, at-risk clients and minimise disruption for the connected services within the city who support rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness. |
