Newcastle City Council intends to establish a ranked framework of suppliers to support the provision of both operated and non-operated plant hire services. This framework will enable the Council to efficiently procure a range of plant with or without qualified operators, to meet varying operational requirements across its services. Suppliers will be ranked based on the outcome of a competitive tender process, ensuring value for money, quality, and reliability. The framework will provide a flexible and compliant route for commissioning services as required, supporting the Council's ongoing delivery of

infrastructure, maintenance, and development activities across the city.
