Coverage: 64 active published awards; 63 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe benefit of using HVTS as the supplier is as follows:
• Affordable availability of 2nd hand equipment these items are immediately available at half the price of new test equipment which will in turn have a positive effect on timescales and delivery of service.
• Water terminations will work with the existing water conditioning unit at the test site ensuring continuity in supply.
• Whilst two pieces of equipment are new, it is more cost effective to include them in this contract, to ensure complete compatibility with existing systems. |
