The city of Doncaster Council is intending to award this contract to the existing provider Bentley Surgery , following direct award process C, under the Provider Selection Regime.
The contract for GP cover for Positive Step Social Care Assessment Unit.
The value of the service will be approx. £30,000 per year for an initial period of 24 months with an option to extend for a further 1 x 12 months, taking the potential contract value to approx. £90,000
The service is intended to be provided from the 1st August 2024 to 31 July 2026

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 9th July 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
