The successful Supplier will be required to provide school uniforms and associated ordering systems and platforms for Future Academies Trust.

We are Future Academies: a flourishing multi-academy trust, founded with the aim of improving the life chances and raising the aspirations of young people. We offer a rich and stimulating education comprised of a knowledge-rich curriculum, diverse cultural and extracurricular opportunities, and a strong pastoral support system. All children and young people are welcomed in our inclusive community, and all are challenged to be the best they can be. For further information about our vision, achievements and the structure of our Trust, please visit our website www.futureacademies.org ↗

This ethos is embodied in our Trust values - Knowledge, Aspiration, and Respect - and in our motto, libertas per cultum (“freedom through education”).

The tender project is seeking to appoint a supplier partner who offers high quality in terms of goods that are ‘fit for purpose’, who will also offer excellent value for money over the entire contract period, whilst delivering excellence in customer service for parents/carers and our academies

The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from 1st June 2024 to 31st May 2027 with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the client.

Client Objectives

-Future Academies Trust believes that the wearing of school uniform helps to foster a strong sense of school identity and goes some way to acting as a social leveller, however it recognises that the cost of uniform can be a significant issue for some parents and carers. Our main objectives centre around quality, cost and best value.

At a wholesale level, the value of the uniform income is currently £2,251,690 across all schools included in this tender. This is calculated on an average of school uniform costing £50/ pupil at the secondary schools and £35/ pupils at the primary schools. Therefore the value of this contract over the maximum 5 year term is £11,258,450.
