Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. What is being bought
On the 15th of April, the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) held an Early Market Engagement Event for Next Generation' Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services with a view to go out to the Market for these services in Autumn 2026. This was followed up by a number of 1:1 sessions with Suppliers to gain a greater understanding around delivery options and market capability. A further Market Engagement event is planned for Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 11:00-12:30 via Microsoft Teams. This will be an opportunity for the project team to update the OH Market on our progress, present our preferred Delivery Model for next Generation OH Health and Wellbeing Services and provide an update on procurement opportunities. There will be a chance to feedback initial thoughts and ask questions at this session. As part of this engagement, suppliers will be invited to provide feedback on these delivery plans in 1:1 sessions held on the 9th and 10th September 2026. Potential providers are encouraged to attend the market engagement event and subsequent 1:1 sessions (please see engagement section). Please note - These services are likely to be tendered under "light touch regulations" so MPS preserve the flexibility accordingly.

This engagement and subsequent procurement is a unique opportunity for suppliers to be part of an organisational shift towards prevention, early intervention, and facilitation of enhanced personal resilience. The further market engagement event and 1:1s aims to: Update the OH Market on the Next Generation OH Health and Wellbeing project which will support staff and officers. Present our preferred delivery model following an in-depth delivery model assessment process. Seek feedback from the OH market on those delivery plans. Strengthen the MPS' relationships with the Occupational Health and Wellbeing provider market. Provide suppliers with an opportunity to clarify any uncertainties about Next Generation services, or the upcoming tender process(es) Prepare suppliers to understand if they will be able to fulfil the MPS' requirements. 1:1 Sessions Following the Further Market Engagement Event on the 1st of September, suppliers are invited to meet with MPS on a 1:1 basis via Microsoft Teams in short sessions on the 9th and 10th September 2026. The event and 1:1 sessions will be suitable for suppliers who provide a range of integrated Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services as well as those that provide niche/bespoke elements of Occupational Health and Wellbeing support, particularly elements that are related to police and blue-light services, trauma prevention, intervention and counselling, and preventative, predictive & proactive health. If you would like to attend the Early Market Engagement event and/or book a 1:1 session, please email Eve Matthews at [email protected] by COB on Friday 28th August 2026. Those that have not registered will not be allowed entry to this event. Further Engagement For any questions, please email [email protected].
