What is being bought
The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to deliver the supply, installation, servicing, maintenance, removal, temporary storage and re siting of stairlifts, vertical/platform lifts and hoists within domestic properties and some public buildings. The Contract will support disabled residents by ensuring the safe, reliable and timely provision of relevant equipment and the associated services.

Where re-siting is to be considered, this would be subject to a condition report. • Hold separately a minimum of 10 units - including two of each stairlift type for priority cases. • Provide demonstrations of equipment when required during the term of the contract, including when a stairlift is installed, property is re-let or a customer needs further demonstration. Demonstration must include full explanation to the Customer of how to operate the stairlift and include observing the Customer using the stairlift competently.
