External Audit Services - Abandoned

The university is looking for suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for the provision of external audit and corporation tax compliance services in accordance with all relevant professional standards and regulatory requirements. The University is seeking a provider who can deliver a high- quality service delivered in an efficient manner and offer a distinctive, innovative, proactive and professional approach to external audit. The provider will also be responsible for the provision of external audit and corporation tax compliance services to the six subsidiary entities of the University of Plymouth; - University Commercial Services Plymouth Limited - University of Plymouth Enterprise Limited - PMS (Facilities) Plymouth Limited - Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise CIC (PDSE CIC) - PDSE Limited - University of Plymouth Services Limited The provider will be responsible for the provision of external audit services for any new subsidiary entities set up or acquired by the University during the course of the contract. The fee for any such audit to be in line with those tendered for the current subsidiaries, scaled for complexity and size. There is a subsidiary company review underway which will be concluded in Autumn 2023 and is likely to result in an amended streamlined and optimal group structure.
